This could depend on a variety of things. Your loved one can be unable to manage routine tasks and can be at great risk when left alone. Churches and some other religious groups may offer assistance as well. Family is another good resource to offer assistance. Volunteers provide support too.  If you find yourself a bit overwhelmed serving as a caregiver, be certain to seek help from others.
